At Ascension Anglican Church, Saskatoon, worship is at the heart of who we are. Rooted in the historic Anglican tradition, our worship services blend reverence, joy, and a deep sense of God’s presence. Whether you are new to church or have been worshipping for years, you will find a welcoming environment where you can connect with God and others.
History
Formed from two previous home-based fellowships, we began worshipping together in 2023, and adopted the name Ascension Anglican Church in 2024. Our ‘mother church’ in the Anglican Diocese of Canada is St. Saviour’s Lloydminster.
What to Expect
Our worship style is reverent and heart-felt, but also informal. We follow the liturgical pattern of the Anglican Church in North America, incorporating Scripture readings, heartfelt prayers, uplifting music, and the celebration of Holy Communion. Each element is designed to draw us closer to God and to one another as we experience His grace together. Many things about our community are new and still forming.
Ascension Anglican Church, Saskatoon, is proud to be part of the Anglican Diocese of Canada, a faithful diocese within the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). The diocese is committed to proclaiming the Gospel, upholding the authority of Scripture, and nurturing vibrant, mission-focused congregations. As a member of this Christ-centred community, we share in the vision to bring the love and light of Christ to every corner of Canada. Together with other churches in the diocese, we strive to live out our faith, engage with our communities, and stand firm in the rich traditions of the Anglican faith.
At Ascension Anglican Church, we believe that Christ transforms lives. Whether you are seeking spiritual growth, a supportive community, or a place to belong, you are warmly invited to join us on this journey of faith and hope.
